Something big is coming to Trim this May, and it is exactly the kind of buzz the town has been waiting for.
Castle Craic Comedy will take place at McCormack’s Trim on Friday 22nd May at 8PM, featuring a headline set from Stephen “Cowboy” Kelly, along with additional acts on the night.
This brand-new comedy night is set to bring huge laughs, a packed house, and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.
This event is now completely SOLD OUT, but the great news is that Castle Craic Comedy nights will be back again, with more dates and acts to follow as this new series of live comedy continues to grow at McCormack’s Trim.
Trad Tuesday every week at McCormacks
Join us every Tuesday evening for a brilliant session with the Fuaim na Bóinne Trad Band, delivering all the energy and atmosphere you’d expect from a proper trad night – from lively jigs to timeless reels, right in the centre of town.

Darkness Into Light – Saturday 9th May
One of the most meaningful events of the year returns on Saturday 9th May at 4:30am.
Darkness Into Light brings the community together at sunrise in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention. It’s a powerful and emotional event that highlights hope, unity, and support for an incredibly important cause.
Dunderry Fair – Sunday 3rd May
A major highlight of the local calendar, Dunderry Fair takes place on Sunday 3rd May in Dunderry, County Meath, Ireland.
This year’s event includes:
- Live performances from Matt Leavy, Gavin Gribben, Erin Noone, The Tunesday Collective, and Rise the Dust Céilí Band
- Jiving competition with a prize for 1st place
- Craft fair
